Each part is carefully disassembled, identified, and cleaned. We remove dust, old ink, and rust. Brass parts are polished using traditional methods.
Worn-out springs, stuck typebars, and damaged rollers are repaired or replaced with period parts. We use quality new ribbons.
Each key is adjusted for uniform keystrokes and perfect elastic return. Character alignment and ribbon tension are meticulously fine-tuned.
The machine is intensively tested over several pages. We check the clicking, inking, carriage return, and overall stability. It must write like on its first day.
Your restored machine is returned to you carefully packaged. We include maintenance tips and typing tricks to prolong its life.
